Not much is known about the CPR engineer A.S. Dawson, but what little is known will be laid out here.
Dawson was the first owner of the Brooks CPR House and was an engineer for the CPR.
He also drew blueprints and sold “ready-made house plans”.
A. S. Dawson was acquainted with the Fourth Duke of Sutherland.
It is said that Dawson died in a sanitarium in Ontario and that he had a son, but it is nearly impossible to find anything on these subjects.
