A. S. Dawson : First Resident of the Brooks CPR House

  • Not much is known about the CPR engineer A.S. Dawson, but what little is known will be laid out here.

  • Dawson was the first owner of the Brooks CPR House and was an engineer for the CPR.

  • He also drew blueprints and sold “ready-made house plans”.

  • A. S. Dawson was acquainted with the Fourth Duke of Sutherland.

  • It is said that Dawson died in a sanitarium in Ontario and that he had a son, but it is nearly impossible to find anything on these subjects.
